My fascination led to a passion for learning over 30 languages during the past 5 decades and discovering new cultures along with their unique worldviews in 99 countries around the globe. As a professor of cross-cultural management at Japanese, US, Chinese (Shanghai and Taipei), and Thai universities for 32 years I have written extensively on foreign language acquisition and cultural adaptation.
