In 2014, he established an internal medicine department and changed the clinic's name to "Seikeikai Clinic Internal Medicine and Dentistry." He also became chairman of the psychiatric hospital Jujikai Matsumi Hospital (now Yasaka Memorial Hospital) (250 beds). In April 2017, he became chairman of the Tokakai Ichinomiya Onsen Hospital. In June of the same year, he became the director of Seikeikai Clinic Ginza, a medical corporation. In December 2021, he became co-leader of the House of Councillors Party and head of the House of Councillors Party's second branch in the national proportional representation district. He ran in the 26th regular election for the House of Councillors on July 10, 2022, but was defeated. After the election, he resigned as co-leader of the House of Councillors Party and became an external advisor to the party. In November 2022, he became the director of Ginza Eldia Clinic, a medical corporation, Ikueikai. In April 2023, he ran in the Osaka Prefectural Governor election but was defeated. In October of the same year, he resigned as an external advisor to the party and subsequently left it. On October 17, 2024, he founded the political organization "Nihon Seishinkai" and became its leader. He provides comprehensive treatment for the whole body, oral cavity, and both Eastern and Western medicine, and his mission is to cure patients who are difficult to treat with modern Western medicine. He juggles politics and medicine while working in his daily clinical practice. His book, "Conversations between a Doctor and a Pastor," ranked fifth overall on Amazon and first in the philosophy category.
