Scoop Weekly Taiwan is a popular general magazine in Taiwan. Founded in 1986 by Shen Ye, it initially operated as a bi-weekly publication, printed in full color on a large format. Due to its excellent sales, it switched to a weekly format in April 1990. However, after the passing of founder Shen Ye on June 9, 2010, the original editor-in-chief, Lin Chia-nan, took over and reverted to a bi-weekly format. On February 9, 2011, it underwent internal restructuring. On October 1, 2011, Chang Yu acquired the management rights of Scoop Weekly Taiwan, changing the magazine to a large, full-color format. Chu Mei-feng was appointed honorary publisher, Chang Yu became publisher and president, and Chang Teng-yun became vice president. On August 17, 2012, Chang Yu founded Exclusive Report Group (Taiwan Exclusive Media), whose businesses span print, electronic media, book publishing, startup matchmaking, film and television production, artist management, e-commerce, service matchmaking, live streaming, and internet celebrities. It is a comprehensive media platform integrating text, video, and social media matchmaking, from creative ideas, live streaming app exposure, program design to overall planning.
