Avhath is a quintet metal/hardcore unit from Jakarta, Indonesia. Members include Krig, BxP, Kvvlt, Svnn, and Yvd. They debuted in the underground scene in 2012 and gained notoriety since then with their constant material releases. Avhath's music can be described as extreme and pulverizing, combining dark soundscapes with monolithic black metal riffs accompanied by crust punk beatdowns. Their Live performances often incorporate dark red lighting theatrics, capturing the foreboding doom that allows no one to escape from them. They successfully brought their performance to all nationwide festivals. Avhath has become one of the powerhouses in the Indonesian music scene, from splits to EPs to winning the AMI Awards for best metal production twice in 2019 for The Annual Horrors and in 2021 for FELO DE SE.
