My aim on this channel is to share my love of folk music. My posts include original as well as traditional songs and covers of my favourite singer song-writers, such as Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and Eric Bogle. I have been singing folk songs for about 60 years, and play guitar (badly) and fiddle (even more badly). I have produced 5 CDs: Axis of Evil and other True Stories Laws of Chance Gospel Ship Pigs Might Fly and other Politically Incorrect Ballads Who Needs Reality? (with Lew Dite and Ukulele Katie) I have also collaborated with Lew Dite on a CD of American folk songs simply called "Songs". I hope you enjoy my channel. Murray’s breakthrough came with his second album, Feeler, in 2003, which cemented his status as a key figure in Australian music. This success was followed by a series of hits including “Better Days,” “Opportunity,” and “So Beautiful.” His music, a unique blend of acoustic, rock, and folk, is known for its positive and stirring sound. Decades into his career, Murray is set to release his eighth studio album, ‘Longing,’ on October 3. The album is his first completely independent release in over two decades, a milestone he’s particularly proud of. The lead single, the blissfully hypnotic “Amy,” offers a taste of his new sonic direction.
