Pieter en Marieke varen met hun motorboot 'De Canicula' door Nederland en laten met video's van vaartochten zien hoe mooi Nederland is vanaf het water. Inmiddels hebben ze ook tochten door Belgie en Duitsland gemaakt. De mooiste vaarroutes én de fijnste aanlegplaatsen zijn beschreven op de website https://www.decanicula.nl. De Canicula is een St. Tropez cabin cruiser van 9.20 meter lengte, 3.00 meter breed en heeft een diepgang van 80 centimeter. Omdat het schip maar zo'n twee meter hoog is kunnen ze ook op rivieren en slootjes met lage vaste bruggen varen. Marieke en Pieter filmen met een DJI Osmo, een DJI Mavic Air en een Panasonic HC-VXF990 handcamera.
