Merve Deniz İstanbul Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı Müzikal bölümünü eş zamanlı okudu. Konservatuvar yıllarında "Broadway Patchwork" adlı eserde yer aldı ve "Grease Müzikali"nde başrol oynadı. 2008 yılında Harbiye Açıkhava sahnesinde sahnelenen "Rock on Broadway" isimli projede sahnedeydi. Konservatuvar yıllarında Melek Yalçın ile başladığı opera şan teknikleri üzerine çalışmalarını sürdüren Merve Deniz, Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Caz Vokal programını tamamlayarak, çeşitli mekanlarda caz repertuvar ile sahne aldı. İlk solo çalışması, “Dönsün Dünya" ile büyük ses getiren sanatçının çalışması radyo ve televizyonlarda aylarca rotasyonda kaldı. "Merve Deniz Acoustic Sessions" projesi kapsamında yayınladığı cover parçalarıyla dinleyicisi ile sıkı bir bağ kuran Merve Deniz müzikal yolculuğuna başarılı bir şekilde devam ediyor.
