Crée en 2008, Kartel Musik, a permis à David Dubé une ouverture vers divers styles et projets. Sous cette étiquette, les styles musicaux sont larges et miroitent autour de sonorités provenant de l’indie, de la pop, du rock, du néo-folk, de la musique du monde etc. Au fil des années, plusieurs artistes ont évolué sous l’étiquette de Kartel Musik dont la populaire La Bronze. Plus récemment, l’étiquette HLM a acquis un jeune prodige du hip-hop francophone, Salimo, le rappeur Adamo et le groupe hip-hop Gros Big. Au niveau de la production, c’est Funk Lion, un musicien de talent et un compositeur-interprète unique en son genre qui se greffe à l’étiquette. De plus, nous y retrouvons Caracol, une artiste indie électropop qui a lancé son plus récent album, Symbolism, en novembre 2018 et qui a tourné son récent spectacle à plusieurs endroits du monde. La dernière signature du Label, le crooner Vince James s’apprête à sortir son premier album qui saura à coup sûr conquérir le public.
