April 27, 2025 Liberty Island, one of Japan's most iconic horses, has been diagnosed with a poor prognosis. This is extremely sad, and I offer my condolences to all the fans, owners, breeders, and other people involved. As for jockey Kawada, I know he cherished horses from a young age. While it must be difficult to move on from his grief, the best way to pay tribute to him is for him to continue to work hard in the future, even after Liberty Island was no longer able to race. I considered expressing my condolences in the form of a video, but felt it would be rude to create one while everyone's hearts have not yet healed. Therefore, once things have settled down, I will create a video about Liberty Island's wonderful life. I've only recently gotten into horse racing, but the more I learn about racehorses, the more I realize there's a lot of drama and that it's not just gambling. This is a channel run by an older guy. ✨ I'm uploading videos summarizing horses from an amateur's perspective, hoping to convey the charm of horses to people who aren't familiar with horse racing. 🐎🐎🐎 I hope that watching this channel will inspire even a few more people to go to the racetrack and support the horses. 🎉 I'm also working to increase the number of places where racehorses can spend their retirement years in peace. ✨✨✨
