Zhou Shen (Charlie Zhou), born on September 29, 1992, in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, China, and raised in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is a Chinese pop singer, young vocalist, and music producer. He graduated from the Lviv National Lisekho Music Academy in Ukraine, majoring in bel canto. In 2014, he participated in the singing competition show *The Voice of China Season 3* on Zhejiang TV, officially debuting as a singer. In 2015, he released his first solo single, "Rose and Little Deer." In 2016, he won the Best Newcomer Award at the Oriental Billboard Music Awards; that same year, he sang the theme song "Big Fish" for the animated film *Big Fish & Begonia*, winning several music awards for the single. In 2017, he released his first solo album, *Deep Deep*. In 2018, he released his first original single, "But It Loves This World." In 2019, he participated in the music competition program "Our Song" and won the championship; in the same year, he launched the "C-929 Planet" national tour concert. In 2024, Zhou Shen released his new solo album "Anti-Deep Lyrics," which achieved sales exceeding 50 million yuan, topping the album sales charts across all platforms in mainland China, and ranking 11th on the IFPI Global Album Sales Chart that same year. His 9.29Hz world tour also launched simultaneously. That same year, he was invited to speak at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and perform the symphonic poem "Ode to Peace." In 2025, he embarked on a world tour spanning 4 continents and 5 countries, and participated in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, collaborating with world-renowned tenor Juan Diego Flórez on "The Eagle and the Orchid."
