CRAZY BROKE ASIAN my debut project, an unfiltered coming-of-age docuseries, built from years of filming "everything". It started off as a plot to earn my parents approval then turned into a raw portrait of Asian identity, mental health, sexuality, and intergenerational trauma. As the project advanced, people joined in and that's how PARLOUS HOUSE, our indie production was born. We’re making an A24-worthy project to do justice to the Asian immigrant experience and bring real Asian stories to mainstream media.
