The reason I got into a camper van was because my kids took over my room... In the extremely cramped detached houses you often see in Tokyo, the first thing to be taken over is dad's room. The Jeep Cherokee I was driving there had a major breakdown, so I had to switch cars. "That's it! I thought, 'Why not make my own room in this garage?'" Then I thought about it further and came up with the idea of a camper van. That's how it all began.
