The Kalgidhar Society initiated its work to bring back the glory of Punjab which is free of drug and alcohol abuse through the tool of education rooted in values. In its quest of fighting drugs with books, the Society has established 130 low-cost CBSE schools and three universities in under its flagship Akal Academies program, providing modern, value-based education to nearly 75,000 students across rural areas of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
