Greetings, my name is M. Laser, Matus Laser, & I do history videos. I try to release videos as frequently as possible, but I don't do YouTube full time, which means there are often months in-between releases. My videos are about random historical topics I find interesting. If you enjoy well researched history videos on topics from all around the world, but mostly Europe, this is the channel for you. My history qualifications are a graduate degree from the U. of London, a Masters from Oxford & a PhD (in progress) at Cambridge. A series of videos exploring the world's darker side. I will cover true crime, grim histories and mysteries of the world. I try to make videos about subjects that haven't already been covered on YouTube. If they have been covered before, I try to improve on past productions. I spend hours on my videos; that's researching, writing the scripts and finally editing. Although I would like to upload one per month, it's not always possible due to the length of time it takes to make a worthwhile video. As well as the internet, I use other avenues for research such as libraries, old newspapers and speaking to people. I’m Zak Korvin, an English artist living in the Sacred Valley, Perú. Over the years I’ve found drawing mandalas and sacred geometry to be extremely useful in reducing anxiety and just feeling way better mentally overall. I feel like I’m tapping into something cosmic that I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe you feel the same? I’m passionate about geometric art, but not just because I like to make pretty patterns. If I wanted to do that I’d use a computer. When I’m drawing geometry I become fully immersed and the world disappears for a moment. As cliché as it sounds it’s all about the journey, not the destination. The videos I post here are what I'm working on and things I've been thinking about, mainly things I want to remind myself to do in my art and in life. If you're looking for geometric art tutorials, I have a website called the Geometers Circle. I post a new tutorial every full moon and the occasional real-time mandala drawing that you can follow along and draw yourself.
