My name is Mark Reuten and I build custom wooden boats. I have been building, repairing wooden boats and teaching wooden boatbuilding since 1993. I have built over 125 new boats and have worked on everything from scale models to tall ships. My work is on display at the Vancouver international airport, the Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site, and I was featured in the BC Pavilion at the 2010 Olympics. I have also been featured in a National Film Board documentary about efforts to revive traditional kayak building in the arctic: Caribou Kayak by Michael Mitchell, 2004. I want to share my knowledge and create a good online resource for detailed wooden boatbuilding education. I've been fascinated with firearms since I was in high school. I recalled walking the halls with a thick Gun Digest as if it was a text book. I took metal shop because I wanted to build a Sten but they wouldn't let me keep it. I should be thankful they even let me build it at all, not possible today. Now, that I'm retired, I like to do educational videos to help my fellow gun enthusiasts but I must admit, in general, it's not really made for novices. You should have gun knowledge, experience and tools. I do modifications and disassembly beyond field stripping. I've 4 series on my channel, they are: 1. Pimp me Shoot is strictly cosmetic (dressing up). No mod done to the gun, totally reversable. 2. Hack&Mod , may not be reversable and parts needs to be made. 3. Full Monty Disassembly, advance disassembly. 4. Major Mark Campbell's gun collection.
