AEREA is a Berlin- and Madrid-based electronic music project shaped through a layered approach to techno, where atmosphere, rhythm, and voice coexist within the same living structure. Moving between emotional techno, hypnotic club rhythms, and immersive ambient textures, the project treats sound like oxygen: fluid, enveloping, and constantly connecting every element. Built around driving grooves, evolving synth work, and carefully placed vocal passages sung by one of the project’s two members, AEREA balances emotional depth with physical energy. Their music moves between structure and emotion: geometric percussion lines against fluid melodies, dense low-end pressure against open atmospheres and suspended tension. Influenced by the contrast between industrial architecture and organic movement, the project’s sonic identity blends raw textures, motion, and intensity into a sound designed equally for focused listening and the collective energy of the dancefloor.
I started this page as a sort of "Try before you buy". A lot of the bands featured are self supporting and would benefit greatly with your support of purchasing their music. I will try to include as many links to the bands pages as I can. Growing up in the 80's I would listen to my Dad's music, mainly Pink Floyd and Mike Oldfield while going to sleep at night, and that started my passion for Progressive Rock. In the 90's and 00's I was introduced to other bands like Yes, Spock's Beard, Vangelis and much much more. I started listening to other bands on here and decided to put my collection on for others to enjoy, and maybe discover new bands.
