Aloha friends! 🤙 I'm Pākē, a passionate surfer and filmmaker born and raised on Oahu. 🌊 After years of riding waves back home, I've embarked on a journey to connect with my Polynesian roots and experience the diverse surf cultures across the Pacific Islands. 🏄♂️ Join me as I travel through Polynesia and beyond with just my board and camera in tow. Along the way, I'll talk to cultural practitioners, sample delicious cuisine, learn shared traditional practices - all while surfing through our cultural pathways. You'll get an inside look at Polynesian history, customs that have been passed down generations, indigenous languages and more. My goal is to provide an authentic perspective into this vibrant region that's so core to my identity.
