Burbex has spent more than half his life chasing forgotten places — from Victorian asylums in London to a 50-storey abandoned hotel in Bangkok and Dragon’s Peak Lodge, one of Hong Kong’s most haunted houses. China remains his biggest playground, with deserted waterparks, rusting steel factories, ghost towns, and even prisons left to rot. Recent trips have uncovered Czech border bunkers, the vast tunnels of Zeljava Airbase in Croatia, and the haunted villas of Vis Island. Wherever there are locked gates, collapsing roofs, or whispers of history, Burbex goes there — and brings the story back.
