Hadi El Bagoury is a renowned Egyptian director who started his career as an Executive Producer, and then he shifted to directing TV commercials towards the late 1990s. In 2000, El Bagoury co-established his production house The Producers with Executive Producer Hani Osama. Through The Producers, El Bagoury made his 16 mm series A‘ard Khas (2010) that is the first series of its kind in the Arab world. In 2016, El Bagoury made his award-winning film Hepta: The Last Lecture which topped the charts in Egypt and throughout the Arab world for several weeks becoming the highest-grossing romantic film in the history of Egyptian cinema.
