Hello and Welcome! My name is Lisa and my channel is mostly about Food, Homemaking and the Simple Life! On this channel we Shop for Groceries and check prices, Cook, Preserve, Practice Food Storage, and Explore the Simple Life. I love researching ways to make your home and your life better. I live in Canada and my family is from the Calabria region of Italy. This gave me exposure to a lot of good food growing up, and I love cooking inspired by the way I was taught by my traditional Italian mother, using simple, seasonal and flavorful ingredients. My dad was a depression era kid and my mom was a WW2 kid, so frugal living was also a big part of their lives. Many of their habits, thankfully, are serving me well in my adulthood :) Though Italian food is my specialty, I also love to draw inspiration from different world cuisines and enjoy making pantry meals. I love learning from others and keeping life simple!
