I made them as child but didn't make such a good job of them. There was glue on the canopies, brush marks all over the place and paint that could only be taken off with a chisel - they never seemed to look they do on the box... After a few year's break I decided to pick it up and try again. Learning new skills from forums and other videos like mine and generally messing about until I got to where I am now. I am still learning and I pick models based on learning something new each time, so you are following my modelling journey as much as I. We are Matti and Stina and we live year-round in Jokkmokk, North of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland with a bunch of Siberian Huskies and 2 Border collies. We run Jokkmokkguiderna which is a small lifestyle company (the two of us and our dogs) that offers guided outdoor tours. During winter we mostly run dog sled tours and summertime it's canoe, hiking tours and wildlife safaris. Since the Corona pandemic hit us all in spring 2020 we´ve started to post videos more frequently here on YouTube to try to share our life, knowledge and somehow move the adventure to you instead of your physical self to the adventure.
