I'm an adventurer, explorer, filmmaker and author who believes life is better outdoors. The channel documents my adventures and expeditions in the wilderness. I prefer self-propelled movement. Hike, paddle, ski, snowshoe, claw. Whatever moves me by my own steam. My notable expeditions include a 4000km, 4-season, continuous crossing of Northern Quebec, Labrador & Newfoundland (by canoe/foot), 1000km across Labrador (canoe) and 700km across my home of Newfoundland (foot/packraft). I fish, forage & hunt. This is camping, survival & bushcraft. Long challenging expeditions & also shorter relaxed tours. My dogs are usually along for the ride. And they carry their own weight. My mission is to inspire others to utilize, appreciate and respect all nature offers. Maybe even light a fire in some bellies to step a little outside a comfort zone & dare to live a dream.
