Videos are released every Friday! ☆★I want to share Japan's wonderful hot spring culture with everyone in Japan and the world★☆ In order to express and communicate hot spring culture in my own words, I have obtained various qualifications, including the Hot Spring Sommelier certification. Bathing is a routine that Japanese people perform unconsciously, second only to "sleeping" and "eating." Soaking in a bathtub, in particular, is a culture that can be said to be unique to Japan. That's why we have hot springs in Japan. Like it or not, everyone travels to a hot spring resort at least once in their lifetime. Bathing with a large group can make you feel closer to friends, right? When you exhale while soaking in a hot spring, you can easily talk about things you wouldn't normally talk about. Japan's deeply rooted hot spring culture proves that bathing in the great outdoors while basking in negative ions has a fatigue-reducing and stress-relieving effect that goes beyond scientific evidence. And then there's "touji," or hot spring therapy, a form of recuperation. While there's no medical evidence for it, the effects that hot springs have on the human body are truly amazing. Even illnesses that doctors can't cure can be cured in hot springs... I love hot springs. The reason is that When I was a child, they were places where I could relax with my beloved family. It was only a trivial trigger that led me to bathe in a mixed-gender hot spring. Of course, I feel the gazes of the opposite sex. It's also embarrassing... I'm not saying I don't want to be seen, but hot springs are a part of Japanese culture, so I hope people will be mindful of bathing etiquette in accordance with this important culture. Bathing naked is something that Japanese people are taught to take for granted from childhood, but the number of mixed-gender hot springs where bathing naked is no longer an option is increasing. It's no longer possible to open new mixed-gender facilities in Japan. Therefore, I hope everyone will cherish and protect the existing facilities. I would be happy to be a catalyst for helping people find the hot spring that suits them and bathe in a way that respects proper etiquette.
