Mit Drogenhandel finanzierte er seinen Traum, als Rapper erfolgreich zu werden um von der Straße weg zu kommen. Seid 2019 inhaftiert und verurteilt zu einer Haftstrafe von 6,6 Jahren. Als sein Bruder Semi Günartan alias SHEMSHEM 2017 das 2. mal verhaftet wurde, produzierte BERKAN gemeinsam mit CAPITAL BRA und KD-BEATZ den Song „FREE SEMI Der Sound ist der originale Zustand von deutschen Rap im klassischen Format, noch vor dem Autotune Hype. Seine Texte kristallisieren sich aus seinem Leben - authentisch und echt.
