Ataypapi wurde geboren 1998 in Klagenfurt, Österreich als Mario Elias Cultrera als Sohn einer marokkanischen Mutter und eines italienischen Vaters. Er erschafft seine eigene Klangwelt, geprägt von musikalischen Einflüssen aus über sechs verschiedenen Sprachräumen.
