Overcoming everything that tried to destroy me! Aussie mum, Islander Hubby 👧🏼👼🏼👦🏼👶🏽
We did it! And we are so happy we did! 😊 We left our expensive, exhausting hustle & bustle life in the big city to be more self-sufficient in beautiful, tropical, Far North Queensland, Australia. We have a 3.2 acre block, 40 mins from Cairns, an old 1980's house, big shed, rainwater tanks, bore water and it changed our lives! We raise chickens for farm fresh (super) eggs🥚, guinea fowl, grow tropical herbs, vegetables and fruit trees to produce a heap of yummy, fresh, healthy food from our property. We knew absolutely nothing about producing our own food and living this life, so we just started and learnt what we needed to along the way. We now travel near and far, local and abroad to find fantastic things to grow in the tropics and how to eat them! 😋🤠 Join us as we explore the food, culture and people of South East Asia and Australia. Stay calm in the farm Tim & Debbie 🧑🌾👩🌾

I'm a flying fox (bat) rescuer and carer. I video a lot of my rescues with a head mounted camera. During baby bat season I take videos daily of the babies as they grow and learn and play, and do flappies and sniffies and head-bobs and press-ups. There will be some graphic footage of injuries on my channel. I usually issue a warning in both the title and the description. If it's particularly confronting I put a warning screen before the graphic footage. I put a lot of information in the descriptions now - perhaps for the last few months. For earlier videos I'm slowly going through them and adding more info to the description. I'm eclectic and I record what interests me at the time. Periodically I visit other wildlife carers and record what they do.
