Digital Analogue Ham Radio
@digitalanaloguehamradio
Hi this is Chris 2E0UKH. I am a radio enthusiast in the UK, that has been fascinated by the magic of Radio For over 40 years. I created my YouTube channel many years ago. Initially it was just a place to store my own videos of great contacts and signals I have received. But to my amazement I noticed other people were watching my videos and the numbers went up every month first it was ten views then one hundred then in the thousands. So I decided to make videos to inspire other people with an interest in this great hobby. I can only talk about stuff that I am really interested in and hopefully this comes over in the videos. My particular interests are handheld radios, base stations, both receivers and transceivers. HF VHF UHF both analogue and digital hence the title. I also enjoy operating from the mobile in the car and speaking to people all over the world on voice communications. Do all at your own risk.

I'm Callum, M0MCX - inventor and owner of DX Commander. The email at the bottom of this page is for Customers or Business Enquiries only else LEAVE A COMMENT! I read and normally respond to ALL comments and questions. Passionate radio amateur and content creator and I share my knowledge and expertise on this channel. I have years of experience of building antennas from monster Yagis to regular wire dipoles. I am passionate about sharing my love for radio and inspiring others to explore this fascinating hobby so that you can achieve more - for less. QUESTION: Why do I use the callsign M0XXT from the Shack? Because Tim M0URX does all our QSLing and the admin of that can be pretty complex and time consuming.. M0XXT is technically a "Club" callsign and it works for all the QSLing we are asked to do.. That's all. We are not a regular "shop" - Visitors by appointment only (sorry). An archive of The Cassette Comeback channel, that was active from 2018 to 2024. It was dedicated to the nostalgia and joy of the humble Compact Cassette. Going through the many different cassettes that were available, as well as looking at new developments, this channel hoped to dismiss the fallacy that cassettes were all rubbish and have no place in modern audio.

This channel is about using a VW campervan to access the great outdoors where I go walking, hiking or ride my e-bike. I'm based in the Scottish Highlands and probably have an unrivalled knowledge of the highlands and islands due to my long career (fifty years) in writing, as a magazine editor and author of 23 books, and making television programmes for the BBC about the area. I've been running a longstanding campaign in Scotland to improve infrastructure for campervanners, particularly those, like myself, who simply want a low cost off-grid stopover for a night or two to go off hiking or biking. I use campsites but have little need of those expensive facilities that many campsites deem necessary today. I hope this channel may be helpful to those who come to Scotland in their campervan. The number of Scottish aires is growing but there is still much work to be done before we can compete with France, Spain etc. Hope you find the channel useful. Enjoy your campervan!
