I unashamedly do repairs all the time that pompous prima donnas disparage with talk of “doing it right” and “best practices”. My knowledge is from 47 years in the field, not gleaned from an “expert” class I took two weeks ago, or the P-pages of a paint manufacturer trying to sell stuff.
