Found as a baby on an Iraqi battlefield, and raised in a Baghdad orphanage, his life changed when humanitarian Moira Kelly brought him to Australia for life-saving surgery. he shot to global fame performing John Lennon’s Imagine on The X Factor, amassing 500 million views, sparking collabs with Quincy Jones, Snoop Dogg, and JK Simmons. In 2024, he became the first physically differently-abled artist to do a stadium tour opening for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour. His song “My Sky” drew 30 million views on online, his limited vinyl reached No. 3 in the vinyl charts, and Rolling Stone named it 1 of Australia’s Top Ten releases. Spotify recognized him in the the Top 30 global Australian artists. In 2025, Emmanuel made history performing at the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup Half-Time Show in New York – sharing the stage with Coldplay, Doja Cat, J Balvin, and Tems in front of billions worldwide.
