My name is Danny. Join me as I attempt to renovate an old abandoned house, known as akiya, in Japan. The house is located in the rural serene countryside ( inaka ) coastal town called Ine in Kyoto prefecture. This is my attempt to restart my life in a way I intended to live it since I was younger. I have always enjoyed a slower pace of life and realized that I have spent half my life in busy cities and never realized my dream to live somewhere peaceful and without the hustle and stress of big cities. I left Osaka city (escaped) and now I will attempt to make a living in the Japanese countryside and renovated the cheap house I bought. I will do most of the work myself and try to share everything I learned along the way. I will also share about local culture, Japanese stories, and humor along the way to make the videos not only informative but fun. Let's enjoy the adventure together!
