Founded by Frans Heesen in 1978 in the Netherlands, Heesen Yachts was the first Dutch shipyard to employ aluminium alloy for building yacht hulls. Since that time the yard has become world leader in design, engineering and construction of high performance, luxury motoryachts. In 1992 Heesen expanded the business to include full displacement yachts. Today Heesen delivers magnificent private yachts within the size range of 37 to 65 metres length and beyond.
