Welcome to my youtube channel which I hope you will find interesting. On my channel I am playing church organs around the UK as well as the odd cinema organ! I have a particular interest in organs built by the John Compton Organ Company Ltd and have made a point in trying to visit as many Compton instruments as possible - in particular, Compton 'electrone' organs which I have a huge admiration for. Aside of organs, my other interests include railways, tramways, heritage buses and clocks which are all featured. I also have a few videos of my vintage Hoover vacuum cleaner collection! In short, I am interested in anything vintage and unusual! I am also an animal lover and try and support animal sanctuaries whenever possible and try and buy products that are not tested on animals. My name's Patrick Leach, originally from Gloucestershire, now living in the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire. "The Solitary Rambler", which began in 1993, is my series of amateur films of my journeys in the countryside accompanied by my own musical scores, which I perform on my keyboard.
