Heavenlight Issa Mtyaule, known as HEVI, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, choreographer, producer, and sound engineer specializing in Afrobeat, R&B, Rumba, and Bongo Flava. Her musical journey began at age eight, singing and dancing in church. In 2019, she pursued formal music education at Makumira University, Arusha (2019–2022), refining her skills in singing, production, and live performance. HEVI officially launched her music career in 2023 with her debut single “TRABAYE”. Since then, she has released six songs, including “ANOTHER YEAR,” “I FIND MY WAY,” “ONLY YOU,” “YOU’RE MY RIDER,” and “JAM”. Her sound blends soulful melodies, rhythmic beats, and rich African influences, creating a unique and captivating musical experience. Passionate about music’s power to inspire, HEVI continues to evolve as an artist, delivering authentic and dynamic performances.
