尼克是一位专业的吉他手、教师和录音室乐手，曾与克里斯·德·伯格、罗南·基廷、黛尔塔·古德莱姆、史蒂夫·史密斯、迈克·斯特恩、乔伊·德弗朗西斯科、埃里克·马里恩塔尔、库尔特·埃林等风格迥异的艺术家合作，并参与了新西兰版《与星共舞》的录制。尼克领导着自己的乐队，定期在新西兰各大爵士音乐节上演出，同时也是惠灵顿爵士乐团的创始成员之一。他以乐队领队的身份发行了五张CD，并参与了众多唱片、电影配乐、电视节目和广播节目的录制。他曾在新西兰音乐学院、Goodtime音乐学院、Musicworks商店、基督城爵士学校（CPIT）、奥塔哥大学、奥克兰大学以及新西兰各地的爵士音乐节举办工作坊。尼克曾在世界各地演出，并在顶尖录音棚（包括洛杉矶Capitol唱片公司的A录音棚）录制唱片。他拥有奥克兰大学爵士乐演奏专业的硕士学位（一级荣誉）。
