It's obsolete technology nobody uses today, but I bring it back to life. I collect and fix vintage computer technology along with historic computing exploration. For me it all started in the early 2000s, when I began collecting Digital, Sun and SGI Unix Workstations. Eventually, due to time and space constraints, I got rid of almost everything, only to start collecting again in 2016, essentially to become THE PHINTAGE COLLECTOR when this channel launched in 2022. Ok, what's the leetspeak name all about? Ages ago I acquired the PHUNSITES domain to play around for fun. As FUNSITES was taken, I spelled it with an PH, it's that simple. Eventually, with additional webpages being added, I started reflecting the PH everywhere like a pest and well, it stayed like that. Hence, I'm THE PHINTAGE COLLECTOR. My passion for SURVIVAL HORROR games started back in 1996 with Resident Evil on the PlayStation. It is still my favorite genre, but I also have much nostalgia for other Retro games on platforms such as PS1-PS3, the Commodore Amigas and MS-DOS or Windows games from the 90ies to the early 2000's. It's mostly a Let's Play channel where we do actually play through the whole games, mainly SURVIVAL HORROR (classics and new ones), but occasionally also do shorter episodes where we play something else from the past. On this channel I'm mostly like in real life, but maybe dialed to 11. Politically incorrect, but not political, and the content is meant to entertain and make you (and me both) laugh. Sometimes at inappropriate things.
