Mereani Masani was born in Papua New Guinea, she is half Fijian and Half Papua New Guinean. She has been singing and performing since she was 7 years old and has been contributing to Papua New Guinean music for over ten years. She has sung on hits such as? Mangi Island Eternity Masalai Time to Shine Kumul Susa Suena Danis Bossman No More Sailas She was an artist on the highly successful 2015 Pacific Games Theme Song “Time to Shine” She has also had international hits with songs such as “Kumul Susa” which was actually a song commissioned by FIFA as the theme song for Women’s Under 21 world Cup held in Papua New Guinea 2016. This song was played and aired in up to 100 countries. More recently she also appeared on Coke Studio which highlighted local talent by doing live recordings and airing them on terrestrial TV.
