This channel is *not* affiliated with the City of Seattle or the Seattle Department Of Transportation. This channel features traffic camera footage and scanner audio that I record, showing crashes, fire responses, police incidents and other interesting footage from the Seattle area. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me by becoming a channel member! You can also buy me a coffee: buymeacoffee.com/seattletrafficcams The City of Seattle streams their traffic cameras online but they don't retain the footage. In the past, all videos were recorded live with the screen-capture software on my laptop. I'm now able to use SafetyVid.com to access camera archives, which is how I get the crash videos. I stream or download the scanner audio from one of several scanner websites. I find openmhz.com/system/psern025 to be the most useful. There are also several places to stream the SDOT cameras live; my preferred site is https://the-sink.github.io/seattle-traffic-cams/public
we just wanna build cool stuff
