Origins — This channel started in the summer of 2021 as a class project for speech class. Posting on YouTube was a way to allow everyone in the class to see the work of fellow classmates. Whether I’m building something, showing one of my many hobbies, exploring somewhere new, or reflecting on life’s journey, this channel is about living fully and sharing the view along the way. Hey y'all, my name is Michael, I'm 59, and I retired to SE Asia in December 2023. After working many years in law enforcement, followed by a second career in banking, I wanted to retire while I'm young enough to be able to do some of the things I've always dreamed about! Follow along to see everything I go through and what this new life is like.
My videos are about cars plus other old machinery of any kind, also a little about what is going on in my day to day life. Every now and then I will buy an old car, if the price is rite, restoring it, getting another old car back on the road. I love all "American brands" of cars of the late 50's and early 60's. There will NEVER be the styling and chrome of that era ever again! I do enjoy restoring lots of things, lawn mowers, fans, boat motors, tractors, motorcycles.... anything mechanical, most of all cars. I make videos on what I am working on, whether it's an old car or an old fan from an estate sale. Speaking of estate sales, thats something I enjoy and include in my videos also. I enjoy vintage Christmas lights, especially the C9 and C7 lights. I post videos on them when I pick them up in estate sales.
