He has developed a new surgical technique to perform cataract surgery; Ranjan’s Modified Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery (R-MSICS), Cartwheel Chop for Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery & combined glaucoma & cataract surgeries (The Infinity Incision). He is also the inventor of two surgical instruments, the Ranjan MSICS Marker and Carter (The Cartwheel Chopper). Dr. Ranjan is prolific writer & speaker. He has authored more than thirty-fivepublications in peer reviewed journals, one book & contributed three book chapters.
